watch the full interview at Keys My Crops Channel

— Panos has an extensive experience like direction and management at companies, the first thing that anyone would like to know is how do you become CEO in a such big company?

P.C. : Well, I follow my motto. My motto is “Be Persistent”, “Ask Questions”, “Be Passionately Curious”, so I must ask questions, must be curious and I am persistent to the things I am doing. Another thing for me that was very important, let’s say one of the password for my career is the lifelong learning, I thing that the learning the leadership is a learning process, a working process, so I am not a person who thinks, who consider that knows everything. So, I’m not afraid to slipping into the row of beginner and to learn things from the begging and to learn new things from scratch, this is the passport for my career so far.

— Life is a process!

P.C.: Exactly, And with a continuous planning, this is let’s say the lesson that makes me to become let’s say to have this career.

— The 2nd question is what would be the recommendations you would give to anyone who wanted to follow your career?

P.C.: ok, I don’t know if I am a good example but let’s say my recommendations is that, first of all I am going to start differently, contrary to the general common understanding that few guys go to the top, there is my understanding that there is plenty of room on the top, plenty of room for everybody, that anybody is willing to work hard and let’s say out of boundaries. So, my recommendation to those who want to follow a career, to go up to the latter sphere, is to not miss any opportunity to become better and to develop himself every single day. Attitude matters, nothing else, attitude is the key, this is my recommendation

— We know that CEOs are usually busy, but how do you spent your free time?

P.C.: Some CEOs or some in our business world are busy people but also we have business and busyness, so I prefer to have business and not to be busy. So what I’m doing, simple things, I go running and boxing but due to the fact that I am frequent traveler and I’m leaving Barcelona many times, so priority for my free time is my family, so I spent 100% of my free time with my family, so priority is my family and simple things during weekends and the days that I have let’s say off from job

— Thank you very much

Panos P.C.: You are welcome! One thing that I like to say about COMPO EXPERT, if you allow me

— Yes P.C.: Because this is important. In COMPO EXPERT as I like to say we don’t sell products but we sell cooperation, so we want to create customers, we want to create cooperation. We have many years that we’ve choosen the part of putting sustainability at the heart, at the core of our business, our job and this base of. So our mission, our job one more year, is the new year, this year, is to transfer knowledge for our customers, to our distributors to our partners because we want them to become one step ahead of the competition, and this is very important for us, that’s why I would like to finish with these words.

— Thank you friends of COMPO EXPERT, thank you Panos for your time

P.C.: Thank you very much

— See you soon
